Which Flavor for What

What each one is good for

Original Sweet & Spicy

$9.00 for a 9oz jar

Creamy and sweet. This is the 1935 recipe my Grandmother Adora started it all with. It's the binder on our pulled pork, and it's the one I put on ham and cheddar.

Hot & Spicy

$9.00 for a 9oz jar

Hot and sweet, with about the heat of a jalapeño or cayenne pepper. Stir it into chili or a BBQ sauce, or set it next to the summer sausage.

Horseradish

$9.00 for a 9oz jar

A sweet base with a mild to medium horseradish bite that won't wipe out your sinuses. Try it on roast beef. It's also our best seller.

Common Questions

The ones we get asked at the table

What can I make with Grandpa Spencer's mustard?

Put it on burgers, brats, hot dogs and sliced meat sandwiches, or use it instead of mayonnaise in tuna, egg, chicken or potato salad. It goes in deviled eggs and in a pot of chili, it's the binder on our smoked pulled pork, and thinned with wine or juice it makes a marinade for chicken or fish.

Can you cook with Hot & Spicy mustard?

Yes. I stir 2 or 3 tablespoons into a big pot of homemade chili, and it works in BBQ sauces too. It has about the heat of a jalapeño or cayenne pepper, so add a little at a time.

How do you make a mustard marinade?

Thin one of our mustards with some wine, or orange or apple juice. Coat your chicken or fish, let it soak in overnight in the refrigerator, then cook it.

Are your mustards gluten free?

Yes. All three of our mustards are gluten free.

Can I taste them before I buy a jar?

Yes. We give free tastings at every live event, usually on a pretzel. The events page has where we will be next.
